The Weekend

Our weekend...

galleria shopping with the MIL for Christmas presents for the boys...Got some really cool stuff. and since Ez's bday is at the end of this month he got some bday presents.. Ate at Buca di Beppo soooo yummy!!! Then home to wait for the Dan's dad to get down. Sunday we got up and went to the State Fair. It was fun there is always so much to see and do. I'm guessing we walked about 10 miles. So needless to say today we are a little beat up. We arrived at the fair at about 11 am and left at almost 9pm, so it was a full day of walking around site seeing the different exhibits and people watching. Oh there were also horse races going on in the fairgrounds and that was the first time I ever went to one. That was a blast. I did not pick a winner out of 3 races but needless to say we will do that again. So today the in-laws left town and it is just 3 of us. Elijah is spending the day with his papa watching football. So I forgot to mention we are an official bike riding family now. Dan got a new bike this weekend also. (great find on craigslist) to match the one he bought me for my bday. I borrowed a bike trailer and we hooked it all up this morning and went around the block for a test drive. Ez just loved riding in the trailer. So we are planning on taking both the boys out tonight after dinner. So that is the end of our weekend now off to a long week at work....sigh!
